Text News Feed Terms
Effective Date: April 2, 2026
These Text News Feed Terms ("Text Terms") supplement the General Terms and Conditions and the Feed Subscription Terms. They govern the delivery and use of text-based newswire content through the Quincy News Feed.
1. Service Description
1.1.The text news feed delivers real-time headlines, story bodies, and related metadata from financial newswire services. Content includes wire headlines, full story text, congressional trade disclosures, economic indicator releases, and editorial annotations.
2. Content Ownership and License
2.1.Text content delivered through the Feed originates from third-party newswire services. Each item remains the intellectual property of its originating source.
2.2.Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to view and read text content through the Quincy News interface. No ownership rights in the content are transferred to you.
3. Redistribution
3.1.You may not copy, reproduce, republish, download, store, transmit, or redistribute text content from the Feed except as expressly permitted by your license tier and applicable copyright law.
3.2.Brief quotations of headlines with proper attribution to the originating newswire (not to Quincy News) may be permitted under fair use, but systematic extraction or commercial reuse is prohibited.
4. Content Retention and Availability
4.1.Text content may be removed from the Feed at the request of the originating newswire or as required by law. We are under no obligation to maintain historical access to any specific content.
5. Story Body Access
5.1.Full story body access is available only to paid subscribers. Registered (free) users see partial story text. Anonymous visitors see brief previews only.
